New York Post and Sensationalism

ESPN bans NY Post Bans reporters after Andrews photos published.

What do you think?? Should the Post have gone to print w/ this? And if the laws prohibiting the dissemination of such things is prohibited, should the media be included and be punished for breaking the law?

I think this was in poor taste on the Post's part. And yes, the media should be held to the same standards. They are not above the law.

There was definitely no need to publish those photos. There wasn't even really a story, from what it seems. I can't think of any reason there is a necessity to post nude pictures of someone in order to support the story being told.

Yes, I think the media should be punished since that is completely innappropriate.

The Post is a paper that promotes sensationalism in journalism, more than many others. So it is not surprising that they would publish these photos. However considering how they were obtained,The Post should have shown some ethics in not publishing the pictures.

These pictures were criminally obtained, and by the post reprinting them I think they perpetuated the crime, and should also be held accountable. They are not above responsibility ,just because they are the media.Journalism , is not an umbrella ,to protect from wrong doing, and use under the auspicious of reporting as an excuse.
